•Flameproof Apparatus:-
Flameproof Apparatus means an electrical apparatus -
whose electrical parts that can ignite an explosive atmosphere are enclosed in a flameproof enclosure.
which (Flameproof enclosure) can withstand the internal explosion of Firedamp without suffering damage & prevent the transmission of explosion to explosive atmosphere surrounding the enclosure.
Enclosure is constructed so robust that it doesn't suffer any damage from the ignition or explosion inside the enclosure.
In all gassy mine Flame safety Lamp, electricmotor, switch gear, control pannels etc. are enclosed in flameproof enclosure.
Flameproof Apparatus वह electric उपकरण है-
जिसके electric part जो ज्वलनशील वातावरण में आग लगा सकते है, एक Flameproof आवरण में बंद रहते हैं।
जो (Flameproof आवरण ) अंदर ज्वलनशील गैस के विस्फोट को बिना किसी क्षति के सह सकता है, और उस विस्फोट की ऐसी लपट को बाहर निकलने से रोकता है जिससे उपकरण के आसपास मौजूद गैस में आग लग सकती है।
आवरण इतना मजबूत बना होता है कि यदि उसके अंदर गर्म गैस का विस्फोट हो जाये तो उसे सह सके।
•Intrinsically Safe Apparatus:-
An Electric circuit is so constructed from which any spark or Heat produced is so weak, & incapable to ignite the inflammable gas is called intrinsically safe circuit.
& An apparatus in which these circuits are used, are called as Intrinsically safe apparatus.
Intrinsic safety can only be achieved in low power equipment such as bell,relay, cable, telephone , signalling, exploder etc. where the Voltage is not more than 24 V(dc) or 15V(ac) & current is not more than 1 Ampere.
जिस Electric circuit में ऐसी व्यवस्था की जाती है कि उससे उत्पन्न चिनगारी व ताप कम होता हैं और उसमें ज्वलनशील गैस में आग लगाने की क्षमता नहीं होती उसे Intrinsically safe circuit कहते हैं,
और जिस उपकरण में ऐसा circuit लगाया जाता है उसे Intrinsically safe apparatus कहते हैं।
